The CLE-1000 is equipped with two, 10/100 auto-negotiating ports, enabling the user to realize the benefits of 100Mbps performance without the high cost commonly associated with network upgrades Canary's CLE-1000 provides clean connections between legacy 10Mbps networks and new 100Mbps segments. The CLE-1000 benefits those users who are already operating at 100Mbps speeds, but are encountering the inherent distance limitations associated with Fast Ethernet. The CLE-1000 allows the user to segment their network into multiple collision domains, creating two, separate, very efficient 100Mbps segments.
