The ProLiant Cluster HA/F500 Enhanced DT (Disaster Tolerant) kit for EVA, is designed to assist in simplifying the configuration of a Disaster Tolerant solution in which the nodes can be up to 100 Km apart through the use of switch fabric, dark fibre or ATM links, and StorageWorks Continuous Access EVA software option, purchased as part of the storage subsystem. This configuration can also take advantage of the cluster in that the nodes can fail over from the local site to the remote site, and provide for Disaster Recovery in a matter of minutes not hours or days.
