Macallys Firewire/USB2.0 external aluminum enclosure is compatible with most 5.2 ATAPI CD-ROM/R/RW, DVD-ROM/combo or any capacity 3.5 ATA hard drive and works with both Mac and PC computers. This enclosure features a shock absorbent rubber strip on the top and bottom, and the solid aluminum body provides protection and excellent heat dissipation. It supports both Hi-Speed USB2.0 and USB1.1 connections as well as IEEE 1394A FireWire connections and provides Dual FireWire ports for daisy chain. The stackable, hot plug and play design includes an AC adapter and an active LED to indicate power and data access.
