Paradyne Hotwire 8100 Concentrator (8100-A1-400)

The 8100 IPC Series features a fixed configuration for DSLAM connectivity with options for network connectivity and is aimed at low to medium concentration of RADSL/MVL lines as found in the Hotwire 8600 DSLAM. Both the 8100 and 8200 Series IPCs support a wide array of network backbone interfaces from T1/E1 Frame Relay to 155 Mbps ATM OC-3. The Hotwire IPC has the flexibility to provide the network interface that best matches the DSLAM configuration and customer requirements. Through the support of a packet-based DSL transport, the IPC feature enables the Hotwire DSLAM system to scale very efficiently to multiple service providers with limited PVCs. The Hotwire IPC efficiently uses Frame Relay and ATM facilities, providing a significant factor in reducing the overall economics of the network design.
