I'd recommend it although it's not quite perfect.

Pros: Inexpensive, no heat, it works

Cons: Light a bit too focused

The Bottom Line: I recommend it until someone makes a truly great piece that fixes it's shortcomings...travelers and other users of high-end laptops will pay for that!

Review: I needed this device (before Apple put out a lit keyboard on the new 17" PowerBooks) and it does the job nicely, and at a fair price.

Can't See the Keyboard?

Pros: Provides just enough light to see the keyboard.

Cons: "Gooseneck" isn't as firm as I'd like.

The Bottom Line: The gooseneck could be a little firmer to keep the light from sagging, and the "rim" is downright annoying. But it's cheap enough that it'll get the job done.
