Sony's "W-Series" HDTVs offer a terrific combination of performance and value — they're Sony's best flat-panel models without the premium "XBR" badge. The KDL-52W3000 features the highest screen resolution available — 1920 x 1080 pixels, or "1080p" — which is necessary if you want to see all the detail in all of your high-definition sources. On 50"-and-larger screens with "720p" resolution, we've seen the "screen door effect" limit how close you can sit, but it's not an issue for 1080p models. Minimize

A Picture so clear you'll think you can crawl inside !

Pros: Clear Picture, superb color, easy set-up...

Cons: Sluggish movement of objects across screen - every brand seems to have issue.

The Bottom Line: Buy one ! or if money is not object consider the SONY XBR's

Pros: weight, HD picture quality, price, product reliability, sound quality, remote control functions,

Cons: Black or dark movies. Although better than my previous plasma screen.

Review: Bought in January 08, at Fry electronics on sale for $2,299. Light weight easy to install with wall mount. Everything great except when watching dark movies, the black is poor quality pixel. HD is excellent & non HD is good. Overall 9 out 10. 10 high ...
