Pros: Solid USB joystick, plenty of buttons

Cons: Mapping software confusing

The Bottom Line: Solid, programmable, and USB interface makes this joystick a keeper for people looking for a good joystick for simulator type of games.

Review: I received my ThrustMaster Top Gun AfterBurner joystick as a gift from my brother.

ThrustMaster is well known for their quality joysticks and controllers. Their joysticks are designed so well that supposely NASA used them.

Joystick Rudder Control broke Within 3 days

Pros: Would be a good joystick if rudder functioned properly. Solid motors. Highly programmable w/ Thrustmapper.

Cons: Joystick Rudder sticks. Tends to get warm. Thrustmapper software is confusing.

The Bottom Line: I owned two older ThrustMaster joysticks that both broke. Why I went w/ thrustmaster this time around I'll never know. But this was the last one.

Review: I was impressed with this joystick when I first brought it home. Installed pretty easily. Force feedback seemed pretty solid. After playing with it for a few days, I started having problems flying in IL-2. At first I thought it was my lack of skill....
